Kira graduated from the University of Michigan Flint with her Doctorate of Physical therapy in 2010. She has been working in the outpatient orthopedic setting with select neurologic conditions for the last 10 years. She is committed to continuing education to bring the best care to her patients.
She is currently certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (McKenzie method), and dry needling and is currently pursuing her manual certification.
She believes in treating the whole patient with individualized care which will include education, hands on manual treatment and exercises. She believes in supporting her patients throughout their treatment with one on one care of 60-90 minutes.
She enjoys running and has moved from full distant marathons to shorter sprint and Olympic distance triathlons. She does a fair amount of cross training (including cycling, swimming, Pilates, yoga, boxing and work out videos) with lifting and stretching. She also enjoys reading., learning new things and playing with her 5 children.
